First of, our apologies for the recent radio silence on the PAWS of JH blog scene! We’re back and excited to share some feel goods with you! PAWS of JH has recently been featured by a new information sharing organization, Lens and Leash. Lens and Leash is a relatively new organization that started with a specific goal in mind; to find every adoptable animal a forever home and to completely remove the need for kill shelters. To do this, Lens and Leash partners with professional photographers around the country to showcase different animal shelters and each of the adoptable animals. They also connect with people around the country and share adoption stories and information that can help encourage more people to adopt and get more exposure for the amazing people that work day in and day out to make the world a better place for our furry friends! Locally they have paired photographer Florence McCall of and photographer Karissa Akin of Après Events with the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter and the Animal Adoption Center.
Our Spay and Neuter Voucher Program was featured last February and this month Lens and Leash featured Sean’s Club. Check out a couple of reads about two of our programs that positively impact both the community pets and people in very different ways.
