Meet Kit Kat our pick for PET OF THE WEEK! Kit Meet Kit Kat our pick for PET OF THE WEEK!

Kit Kat is an eager young dog looking for guidance in his life. He is good with other dogs as long as he is properly introduced and not threatened. New dogs make him nervous and frightened, but with proper patience and intro’s he can make friends. Kitkat is working on basic manners and impulse control and learning that he can't always get exactly what he wants when he wants it. Patience, dear grasshopper, patience.

Speaking of grasshoppers, Kitkat is athletic, springy, and enjoys nature. While he is not the ideal roommate for cats or chickens, he is an ideal roommate for an active family. He would thrive as the only dog in the household so that his human(s) can dedicate the time needed to help make him comfortable in this big world. Kit Kat has been preparing himself for a forever family for quite some time, could he be training to be your special dog?

Kit Kat is available for adoption from the @animaladoptioncenterjhwy 307-739-1881.

Remember this SeniorPAWS Pom? He’s had many name Remember this SeniorPAWS Pom? He’s had many names since his arrival to our program back in August, but his current name of Jack Mendoza is for sure his forever one.

Jack came to us from @epanimalsvc via our friends @dogismycopilotinc this past summer. He was 10ish years old and found wandering the streets of El Paso, TX. He received needed medical treatments and was fostered with our staff (due to COVID, he wasn’t able to foster with the Living Center) while looking for his forever family.

He was adopted to a family and all was going well until Jack decided he wasn’t game to share his space with small children. The decision was very tough on the family, they adored him, but the little humans and Jack deserve a harmonious home life.

We assisted Jack’s first family with advertising Jack and vetting potential owners. Tami, Jack’s new mom, was absolutely perfect.

Jack spends his time as Tami’s #1 home assistant. Helping feed her horses, zoom tutoring her students, and shopping, he’s a man of much assistance, and has the perfect outfit for any occasion.

Thanks for checking in with us Jack, and keep rocking your couture. You’ve got the perfect figure for every print, fabric, and detail!

Find us a prettier pittie princess! We dare you! M Find us a prettier pittie princess! We dare you! Meet Ellie, soon to be available for adoption from our partners at the @tv_shelter .

The year 2020 has been a tough one on all of us, including this speckled spunky sweet tart. Long story short, Ellie’s humans got in trouble with the law and decided they no longer wanted her. Her time was up at the shelter in Pinedale and their staff reached out to us for help, this gal deserves a chance!

Ellie doesn’t have a ton of life experience outside of (from the looks of her belly) being a puppy producer for her 1.5 years of life. She kennels beautifully, has met a couple of dogs, and may not be a good roommate for a cat... although one feisty feline got a little whack in through their kennel and she responded with poise, grace, and curiosity.

We are so thankful that the @tv_shelter is willing to take her into their program with full sponsorship from us for her medical and training support needs. Ellie will be spayed on Wednesday and in the meantime the TVCAS staff will be getting to know her as she settles into her new digs. Be sure to check Petfinder and @tv_shelter ‘s social media pages for future updates on adoptable, Ellie. Or better yet give them a call at 208-354-3499 to learn about adopting her.

Many thanks to Happy Endings Animal Rescue in Pinedale for assisting us in transporting this precious canine cargo today!
